Indeed! I was thinking about about the allocations too, if there's no/very little B9TLs left at Wigan for the routes whilst they're doing the Olympics stuff, I'd imagine Arrows/B7RLEs/B10BLEs would be on the 32 and Bryn-run X34s. I know for a fact that it's not unusual to see those three bus types on the 32 on a daily basis (apart from Sundays with Arrows). I also went on 30586 P413MTW on the X34 around Christmas time, not fit for high speeds at all, going up the East Lancs where the X34 turns onto it in Astley I think it is at about 15mph was not exactly a great speed to be going down that road! :P

Dear oh Dear, Wigan's gem 30586 NOT, I wouldn't feel safe on that one :-). I am wondering myself would all of Wigan's B9s be used , maybe it will be a mix from WN and QS. I say queens road as they like to work in tandom with Wigan, on routes etc.

It'd be nice if they brought back some form of withdrawn bus at Bryn to temporarily replace one of the B9TLs. 31942 looks like the most intact one there, it is only missing a destination display and a panel off the front (which was there previously), so it'd be nice if that one returned! :P That probably won't be happening though.

37389 is another Bolton repaint. There seems to a few B7s parked up as well that I don't recognise in the car park. These might be the paint loan ones though.

Issue with the Darts on the 149 today following its evening/Sunday terminus curtailed to Alt, as it appears that Alt doesn't appear in the list of destinations on it. Saw two 149s today, one with Holts Estate and the other with Oldham bus station.

I shall be on watch near Bury as well, as re painting is about to begin there, just over a month to 471, 135 re launch and the 36 and 37 at BN at which time the branding will appear on newly painted B9S

Seems odd that they won't be branding the 8's along with the 36/37. I've always regarded it as a very important route until I actually rode on it and saw the timetable for myself. I wasn't impressed for a service which was supposed to fastlink two major town centres. Honestly, I think the 8 needs to be made a much more limited stop service. I also think along with the 36 and 37, the 501 and 582 should be relaunched.
