RE: Stagecoach Chester & Wirral
the real reason for the deckers in chester depot are they are being used on tarpoley high school contracts. stagecoach are running these contracts as emergency from gha who were removed from the contract by the council. |

Does anyone know the reason CWaC removed GHA from the school contract? |

Would imagine the Bluebirds are missing a fair few bits between them, having donated them to keep 29880/2 on the road. While they are Cummins engined, they have ISL model engines - not the ISB/ISC type more commonly found over here, and so parts have to be ordered direct from Cummins in the USA with correspondingly long lead times and high prices. That's a major part of the reason behind them being withdrawn. |
