It was still on the X2 early this afternoon

Permanent, they were freed up by the LCC subsidy cuts. Up in Scotland they've replaced a mix of 51/02/04 plate Solos.

47042 from Midlands may just be for spares dismantling - it was initially on their disposal list, and 47030 has recently gone to Hull for dismantling.

No fewer than five of the X2 allocations yesterday (14/05) were not X2 branded Scanias. These included four of the former Chorley Scanias and the rather more common PX12EFD. I know substitutes are common on this route but five was surprising.

I had PX59CTK on the journey back from Southport, and what a superb bus this is. Smooth, almost completely rattle free, very nippy and with a great sounding engine. Without doubt the best Enviro400 I've ever been on.

It would be handy if you could use fleet numbers rather than registrations thank you.

Same a couple of weeks ago when I had to go to Southport, 15563/5/7/71 all noted one day on the X2, no branded ones seen by myself!

Just to clarify yesterday's X2 allocations, it was in fact three of the PX59 Scanias (CTF, CTK and CUA), one of the unbranded PE13 Scanias and PX12EFD. Fair to assume there are a number of the X2 batch off the road currently.
