Seems like there maybe a major signalling issue at Machynlleth , resulting in all services from Shrewsbury to Aberystwyth and Pwllheli being suspended .

After extensive testing to the signalling system service was restored slowly from 1550 hrs.

Im not sure whether this has been the first failure of the ERTMS system

The Cambrian line is closed due to a fire on the Barmouth Bridge this morning.

All time rail mileage travelled 327264 miles

It looks highly likely that the service between Bidston and Wrexham will get suspended this evening due to the units struggling to negotiate Hawarden Bank , the units are just about reaching walking pace.
