This guy has penned so many great tunes, mostly on the Soul/R&B front from the 70s/80s. Always a little known fact that he was a Brit from Cleethorpes. Quite possibly had the same effect on Soul/R&B as Lennon/McCartney had on Rock/Pop. RIP. |

I do wonder whether as Hilda was such an integral part of the fabric of Coronation Street that an acknowledgement of her death will be made in a storyline , by one of the more senior cast members still with coronation street. |
