RE: Arriva North West - Bootle Depot
Green Lane's 2668 (CX58 EUK) SB200/Pulsar1 is now at Bootle. On route 58 today. |

2667 (CX58 EUJ) is another Interurban Pulsar1 from GL which is now at Bootle. Makes me wonder if 2669 and 2670 are coming here too? This -of course- would compensate for the loss of 2660-2663 which are due for service at Chester. 2667 on route 53-CROSBY this afternoon. |

RE: Arriva North West - Bootle Depot
4428 (MX09 LXK) Trident2/Enviro400 decker just been freshly repainted into Interurban livery (now also Wi-Fi-equipped). This means it's now the third of the 12 '09-plate Enviro400s (4423-4434) to be repainted into Interurban, the other two being 4423 and 4433. Now there's just seven 09-plate deckers at Bootle in the old, standard livery (4424/5/7/9/30/1/2). Needless to say, 4426 and 4434 are still in bodywraps (4426 in yellow Zoe's Place, 4434 in Union Jack Queen's 90th). |

RE: Arriva North West - Bootle Depot
I see that Bootle has changed the layout of its displays again. Heading into town, they now show 'City Centre' on the top line and 'Queen Square' below it. I also noticed a 56 showing 'Netherton/Magadalene Square' in the same format. Personally, I prefer the scrolling intermediate points that Stagecoach use. |

Saw a 75 and 78 earlier displaying "City Centre" with 'Hanover Street' and 'North John Street' underneath respectively. https://www.flickr.com/photos/tf91/ |

As well as the above, side LEDs on Speke buses now display 'City Centre'. An improvement, but still not as good as the scrolling via points which should never have been removed.

Croeso Cartref! (I think that means 'Welcome Home!') 2918 (CX58 EXK) seen heading back to Bootle Depot late Sunday morning after spending the summer at Rhyl Depot. Seen here last month on the X51 (doesn't the new front end look smart and shiny?).... https://www.flickr.com/photos/cymrucoast...3/sizes/l/ (Photo Credit; Cymru Coastliner) |
