The current Enviro400s on the 1 are 58 plate, not 15 plate, so this will be a significant upgrade in terms of age.

I was referring to Chester's Enviro400s (CX15 BX-) but yeah these MMCs will be much better than the ones currently on the 1

Changes to Service 5 from the 27th October 2016

The Friday & Saturday Evening Services are to be withdrawn with Sunday services reduced to every 2 hours with the following aervices withdrawn

11:00, 13:00, 15:00, 17:00 ex Wrexham
12:15, 14:15, 16:15, 18:15 ex Llangollen

What a shame, last Sunday they used Enviro200's and a few were noted full standing on a number of workings around Plas Madoc, Llangollen bound. Shame they didn't give it a chance until post Christmas buildup.

Heard reports that ARRIVA Midlands 2712 and 2727 have passed to ARRIVA Cymru, Wrexham depot from Oswestry by this morning.

I'm assuming these new additions will enable the return of the 3 loaned vehicles to the Northwest depots (2594, 2601 & 2917)

I gather so! There is also a third Cadet reported to join these but in the older livery, looks forward to reports of these this week.

The third example is however not via neighboring Oswestry depot (but has been on loan there this year). I gather also a 4th vehicle may also have arrived from Midlands.
