Disposal on the fleetcard doesn't necessarily mean scrapped though does it? If sold it could still enter preservation unless you meant the plan was Stagecoach were going to preserve it themselves. |

Obviously it's days or months are numbered with the DDA regulations for deckers coming into effect at the end of the year it would just be nice to see it painted back into the white stripe livery and preserved - it still has most of it's original seating |

RE: Stagecoach Manchester and Wigan
Hopefully AZ will gain some extra deckers as since Sunday I've noticed once again the dreaded Enviro200's sneaking onto peak afternoon/evening workings which are crying out for deckers. I noticed an Enviro200 tonight at 17:15ish traveling down mottram Moore towards Glossop with passengers packed on many forced to stand. Also noticed an Enviro200 on the 231 on Monday afternoon which again was packed. Why they allocate single deckers to peak workings they know require something bigger? If it's a question of not having enough deckers then they should retain some instead of cascading them to other groups. It seems to me they are trying to stretch the use of the remaining Enviro200's when in all honesty the only service they seem to work ok on is the 346. |

RE: Stagecoach Manchester and Wigan
Allowing for people who can use Stagecoach route 330 to the Airport with their Smartcards, this could reduce demand for route 199 on this section, and maybe eventually its withdrawal west of Stockport. |

It does seen like the 330 branded MMCs are being used on most AZ services. One was allocated to the 236 most of the day on Friday and again yesterday I spotted one on the 237 then another on the 216. Stranger still however was that 10578, which is another 330 branded MMC was used on the 82 night service last night (sat). Credit to stagecoach enthusiasts Facebook group for that. |
