Townlynx, Greenfield

The latest arrival here is Dart MPD AA02GHA (SK02TYS) ex GHA . It was apparently purchased as a non runner and was acquired for spares, however after an initial inspection consideraton is now being given to put it into service.

ex GHA Dart MPD - CN04NLL has now been given the company's green livery and will be sporting some experimental Townlynx logos. It has also been tested and will probably be out on the road this coming Saturday or Monday once destination equipment has been fitted.
Sibling Dart CN04NLP is now repanelled and is about to go for painting.

It is also believed that the company will have a couple of vehicles on demonstration in the new year with a view to purchase.

I have a website which looks at the bus and coach operators in North East Wales. There are current fleetlists for all operators and most have a full historic fleet list.
Included are current depot fleet lists for Arriva Cymru. There are also a number of ceased opertators with historic fleet lists including the GHA Group

RE: Operators based in North East Wales
Just seen on the 146 Facebook group that D. Jones & Son are to operate the 146 Wrexham-Whitchurch route from Monday 19th December, taking over from RJ's. I must stress that this is not confirmed by Wrexham Council or the operator yet.

Edit.. It looks like it's confirmed now, just waiting for approval. Also other WMBC/RJ's routes have new operators bar the 6 to Ruabon.

Heard which operator has gained the 64 but won't post until confirmed detail is seen incase this is not correct but not an operator from Wrexham BC.

So much for D Jones not taking tenders on from their claim in the Buses Magazine article some months back! Mind you they also made out in the same article they operated on the 5 before ARRIVA Cymru did when in reality ARRIVA had already been running for days before D Jones started its operation! Despite this best of luck to them with their new route.

Thanks, missed the link, yes Tanat Valley I had heard previously. Good move for them as they used to operate the 60 service which operated to Oswestry opposed to Llangollen.

Wrexham Taxis

The former GHA and RJs of Wem Ltd 17 and 34 services (Moss and Trevalyn) are now operated by Wrexham Taxis and of course they are now only operated three days a week.

On the first morning of operation the vehicle used for both of the services was Ford Transit - WV55EMF -- PHOTO LINK --
