It seems the weather gods in australia are playing up , Qualifying for the Australian Grand Prix which was due to start at 0600 GMT has been delayed three times now and is expected to start at 0630 GMT .

The rain started pouring down during Final practice and arrived yet again about 10 minutes before the Qualifying session was due to start.

I always thought that Australia was a dry country seemingly not on this occasion.

Formula One ace John watson reckons we are going to see a Pandora's box of problems for Red Bull with Sebastion Vettel ignoring team orders and overtaking Mark Webber at the Malaysian Grand Prix at Sepang.

It seems that with no punishment forthcoming that Vettel may think he is untouchable now .

Saw Button tweet about this. Quite amusing really, bit of a circle that he's gone round in.

Be interesting to see how Honda's offering will compare to the other manufacturers'/engine suppliers' now; they were really quite poor and somewhat lacking behind upon their departure from F1. If it's another poor offering this time round, it'll be quite telling of Maclaren's seemingly dwindling ability of late. The car seems poor again this season - easy to see why Hamilton got fed up.

Don't get me wrong, it'd be great if Honda made a real comeback to the F1 scene with a great product but I certainly won't be holding out for it.

At the moment everything seems to revolve around what Red Bull do to there car .

Vettel seems to wring every ounce of go out of the car , something that Webber struggles to do .

This weekend is the society event of the year in the F1 circles the Monaco Grand Prix .

This is the circuit where it is prized to have pole position as the circuit is that narrow its very hard to overtake without risk .

Seb is much more aggressive in his driving style than Webber. Although he can be somewhat ruthless in nature toward his team mate, he seems to either be a better tactician himself, or a member of his team has the ability to put a better race plan in place, than Webber too. They're both in the same car so it is interesting the differing performances.

The red bull car has seemed to be a quality product in recent years though, that's the primary reason for Red Bull success. Even the straight line speed of the Mclaren has failed to 'pull one over' on the red bull car as it just seems to be sublime through the corners too - somewhere where both recent Mclaren and Ferrari cars have lacked. One things for certain though, Red Bull's development team are bloody good at what they do.

Interestingly enough mind, a number of F1 pundits have been 'urging' Seb to make the move to another team citing that without doing so, he can 'never claim F1 glory'. Source: http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2013/mar...-coulthard

Sebastion Vettel always seems to be getting linked with Ferrari .

Would that be the place to go now or should he wait a few more years and try and emulate what Michael Schumacher did .

Yesterdays British Grand Prix at Silverstone was won by Nico Rosberg but the major talking point was the amount of high speed blow outs , there was four in the race and one further one in practice .

The opinion is that the kerbing on turn 4 was slightly raised causing the inner tyre wall to be damaged every time the cars went over it .

It has been confirmed that a different pirelli tyre will be in use for the German Grand Prix this weekend .

Pirelli will use a tyre that has the rubber mounted on Kevlar rather than Steel , Pirelli advise that Kevlar is more puncture resistant . This will make the tyre's run approx 10c cooler though. Pirelli wanted to run these at the British GP but the weather intervened and there was insufficient use of the tyres to go through the thorough checks needed.

After a three week break the following Grand Prix in Hungary 26-28 July there will a bigger change in tyres with a new range of tyres with the same manufacture as last year (2012) with the 2013 compounds .

Interesting times ahead in the Grand Prix world .

I do think that they want this sorted before they traipse off to the Belgian GP at Spa , a racing circuit with a notoriously fast corner one of the fastest on the GP Circuit at Eau-Rouge , we dont want delaminations or blow outs there .
