Presumably the theory is that a route through the city centre will give an advantage.

The merseytravel timetable update page has a new service introduction date of the 1st September 2015 with routes 22 22A and 22B , which should be slight variations of the main route 22. No timetable yet.

Probably the only reason Avon have not looked at coming back is that they now have some extra Merseytravel daytime commitments now , which they didn't have last time .

As such does this mean that there will be some changes to the ACL / Helms school work .

As Stagecoach's timetable is a plain old vanilla timetable , with the only alteration being those Express X22's at the start and end .

Services 22/22A/22B Update:

Service 22 will operate hourly Monday - Friday daytime only. The route will serve Gorse Stacks in Chester (not the bus exchange) then straight up Parkgate Rd and serve Little Neston, Neston, Parkgate and Heswall Bus Stn.

Service 22A will operate hourly on Saturday's only. It will follow the same route as the 22, however will divert via Willaston (Hadlow Road and then Hanns Hall Road).

Service 22B will operate only one short evening journey from Heswall to Neston Mondays - Saturdays.

I'm bit disappointed that Helms fleets have no WIFI, Which Stagecoach they have one WIFI, passengers will be not happy without Wifi. I hope Helms put Wifi on the fleets soon.

It has definitely been considered, especially with having Whitchurch services as well.
