Yes but it's not always value for money. A few months back I was charged eleven quid for a single ticket from Crewe to Chester. Ironically more an the cost of a Megabus train ticket from Lime Street to Euston.

And the other thing is the Virgin branding when operational control is with Stagecoach. Ask anyone who has the misfortune to live in Surrey or Hampshire and has to deal with SWT.

I was going to say it's like booking to fly to LHR on Virgin and finding you're actually on Aer Lingus. However that's a different arrangement and the reality is it's more like booking Virgin and finding you're actually on Ryanair.
